How do I know when to ship a full container versus on LCL shipment?

Solution: EIF will advise when you request a quote.

When you request a quote or costing, we will assess the weights, dimensions, volume and advise you the most cost effective shipping method. Whether this be courier versus airfreight, or FCL's versus LCL. We look at all options to optimise your cost versus transit time.

Can I ship from one supplier to multiple consignee's?

Yes you can, this is known as Cross Dock. Your supplier would package orders individually labelled for your end users. On arrival into New Zealand we will bring back to our facility, break down and dispatch to your local customer.

Is insurance a necessity when shipping?

Solution: EIF can offer insurance on a per shipment basis.

We recommend an "Open Marine Insurance Policy" which covers you based on agreed risk, product and cover required. If you do not have a policy, EIF can offer cover on a case by case basis.

I never know where my cargo is or when it is arriving.

Solution: Visibility by web tracking or daily reports.

Your Customer Service Team can provide shipment status updates via reporting direct to you or you can track via our web tracking, giving full transparency at all times. This information can be tailored to suit your company requirements.

Can I ship from multiple suppliers to one consignee?

Yes you can. This is a consolidation of multiple suppliers. We will manage all communication, bookings at origin.
